March 20, 2010 @ 8:00 am - "Paws for a Cause" 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk

Location: Bedford County Courthouse

The second annual “Paws for a Cause” 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk will be held at 10 a.m. Sat. March 20, beginning and ending at the Bedford County Courthouse. Runners and walkers are encouraged to bring their leashed dogs with Rabies tag on the collar to the event. Registration will be from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. before the event. Cost is $20 per runner or walker. Early registration can be done at Bedford County Animal Control or by calling 931-685-1130. Those registered by March 12 will receive a free event t-shirt. The event will benefit the newly opened Middle Tennessee Spay & Neuter Clinic (MTSNC) which assists low income families, rescues, humanes and animal controls or those who adopt from these agencies to get their animals sterilized at low rates.
